ATIENZA INTERISLAND FERRIES INC.
The company started as a shipyard in 1983. Its owner and proprietor started it by accepting job offers for building and/or repairing small wooden boats at his backyard in Dalaruan, Sabang, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. As a shipyard, the clientele included wooden hull within the Batangas, Mindoro and Palawan area for drydocking. A number of orders was placed for entire wooden hull vessels to be constructed at the site.
In 1866, the company constructed its own wooden hull vessel from Manila to Palawan route transporting cargoes of various kinds. The company then operate and be known as the Atienza Shipping Lines.
The company became a corporation in 2016. Today, we have a total of 9 vessels composed or frastcrafts, Ro Ro, cargo and tugboat and plans to continuously expand. Atienza Interisland Ferries Inc aims to provide a safe, comfortable and economical means of transportation in the country.
